Autumn 2025 is here, and with it, the completion of our estate grape harvest, and the last load of fruit arriving from Northern Indiana just yesterday (10.25.25) harvest is now complete!
This was a remarkable year for our estate grapes. In total, we processed 24 tons of fruit! Here is the breakdown:
- 12 tons harvested from our own vineyard.
- 7 tons received from other Indiana vineyards.
- 5 tons of persimmons, blackberries, and apples from local Indiana farmers.
We simply cannot miss this opportunity to acknowledge the volunteer harvesters who helped us every time we pulled fruit from the vineyard. Without these amazing friends and family, we could never have accomplished this goal.
CHEERS TO THEM!
As we turn the corner and head into the home stretch of 2025, I want to express my sincere gratitude to you, our Wine Club Members. You have heard me say it before, and I will keep saying it:
We are a “Wine Club Winery.” We choose to grow hybrid grapes and embrace the challenge of demonstrating that excellent grapes can be grown in the Midwest and that great wines can be crafted from them. Our wine club continues to grow, which sustains the livelihood of my staff and family.
I thank you for making my dream come true.
Cheers, Anthony A. Leaderbrand
