Winery Update, February 2022

We are so excited for this new year and all of the new things we have planned. But before we get to that, a quick update about our doings here at Owen Valley Winery.

Some of the wines we began in 2021 have (finally) matured and must sadly leave their tanks to make their way to you now. Last year was a very productive year, and we can’t wait to see how they do out there in the big world.

We are just about finished with a substantial expansion to our production room, which will allow us to produce and store even more vintages in the future. On top of that, we have introduced a new barrel program which is going to allow us to bring more barrel aged wines to you too!

As Spring approaches we are gearing up for the biggest year yet for fruit production. Our plants are maturing as well, and we can expect our first full harvest of our young Catawba vines which is very exciting. We are especially excited for our estate persimmon orchard which after almost a decade should finally bear their first fruits.

Some of you may have noticed a few new selections being added to our food menu. Keep an eye out! There will be more delectables coming soon. Thank you for your support by being a member of our Wine Club, we couldn’t do it without you!
