Winery Update, November 2022

Well we made it to the end of another harvest, and now into the holiday season. Is it too early to say Happy Holidays. Too bad I already said it. 🙂

This year was another great year for our little oasis winery in the middle of Sweet Owen County. Our yields from the vineyard were great, and the fruit quality was great across the state. We received 19,900 lbs of grapes, and 500 gallons of juice from Indiana Vineyards. Our Estate Vineyard produced 17,500 lbs of grapes.

Its also worth noting that our kitchen sold 3246 slices of house-made cheesecake, YTD.

Our facility growth consisted of finishing up the production building and preparing it to receive our automated wine bottling line in May 2023. We poured a new patio in the vineyard garden, installed a larger septic field and built a pole barn in the vineyard to house our vineyard equipment.

We are grateful for our community, staff, customers for keeping our dream alive. Our little oasis welcomes tourists from all over, and provides the community a place to enjoy the beautiful countryside of rural Indiana, and our wine club members are the glue that binds the agriculture grape growing, to wine production to retail sales of our product.

Without you. This whole cycle would be much more challenging.

Our wine club membership continues to grow, and with that I say,

 Thank you.
