Its time for our first club release in 2021, and we are excited to bring you a new vintage of Covered Bridge White, and a new port-style wine we are calling our Blackberry 20.
The Covered Bridge White has become a popular favorite with its vibrant tropical profile. This wine was crafted from the fan favorite Cayuga, sourced from the New York countryside.
The Blackberry 20 is a port-style wine made from Indiana Blackberries, sourced from District 6 Farms in Jasonville Indiana. This wine was fermented then blended with a brandy, fortifying it to around 20% ABV which should help warm you up for the remaining days of winter to come.
We are staying busy with preparations for an exciting year in 2021. In the vineyard we have begun to prune the older grapevines, and are acquiring the trellising materials for our new grape plants arriving in May. We have 1350 2-year old vines ordered and if all goes according to plan, they should begin producing within a year.
